We visited here just over a week ago. It is absolutely beautiful. The scenery is outstanding and is very relaxing. The walk is fairly easy, obviously but of a steeper climb towards the top. It is a 'little piece of heaven'. Would recommend a visit. Parking is roadside. Unfortunately the day we went the pub was closed otherwise looked a nice place for a coffee /drink after your walk.
England's highest waterfall. Lovely 2.5 mile walk from Cross Keys Temperance Inn. Can park in layby, then down a small set of steps near a fishing sign. Cross river on foot bridge and then follow the grassy path to the waterfall. Wouldn't advise climbing to high on the path in bad weather, can get slippery and very windy. Return along the same route.
Walk can be made into a circular taking in The Calf and Sedbergh.
If you like walking and waterfalls this one is for you
Cautley Spout is England's highest (cascade) waterfall above ground.
This cascade of falls tumbles a total of 650 feet (198 m) down a cliff face at the head of a wild and bleak glacial valley that comes down from a high plateau called The Calf. The OS Trig is on The Calf if your ticking those of your list, its less than 2 hours to get to the summit
Quieter than the lakes so a good one to do in holiday season
There is also a Andy Goldsworthy sheep fold too #niche

Easy walk, beautiful views, many various routes to follow.
There are a few beautiful waterfalls that you can go Canyoning from. You do need special material, information and knowledge.
Well worth it if you are prepared to clamber up a steep path. Brilliant views. Not much parking
Absolutely beautiful place. A nice and elegant 45 minute walk.
Very steep accent to the top of the waterfall but well worth it, not for people with vertigo or bad knees!!. Stunningly beautiful.
